The best Mac and cheese I've ever had !The salmon chowder is absolutely to DIE for.Great location and fantastic atmosphere.Best smoked salmon I've ever had hands down. Super moist and salty and sweet. Pulled pork Mac and cheese was so creamy and smokey. A must see if ur coming thru chehalis. 5 ⭐ all the way from our food to our service. Excellent owners. Very great addition to downtown Chehalis.

Delicious! Very friendly staff, clean, and some of the best pulled pork around! The variety of smoked salmon is pretty good too. If you haven't tried their brisket chili, it's a must! Highly recommend!

I stopped in randomly when my eight year old son said, “Let’s eat there!” I’m glad we did. The salmon chowder was so good! I had the tuna melt and my sons had pulled pork Mac-n-cheese and a pulled pork sandwich. We were not disappointed. The owners seem to take a lot pride in the quality of their food. They made sure to check on each costumer. This is my new favorite place and can’t wait to bring my wife on a date here.

This place is huge, warm, smells great, has awesome lighting, and the music is on point. There are many things to shop for while you get an amazing meal. I’ve had several different meals and it’s evident the chef cares about what he makes because it is constantly delicious. I bought the big portions of the brisket Mac n cheese because I want the leftovers. They now have beer too and hopefully soon they’ll have N/A Beers too. I can’t recommend this place enough.

We loved this place! The Salmon chowder is a MUST!! And don’t forget the mac ‘n cheese -with smoked salmon! Seriously good! I’m from New England and grew up having authentic chowder-this is amazing! Relaxing, laid back atmosphere, and the indoor artisan market are a great plus as well! I picked up some artisan chocolate on the way out! Go Eat Here! You won’t regret it! 😊👍

First, it is great place and is layed out that is inviting. The staff makes you feel welcome and want to come back. Then there is the Tuna San, I can't compliment enough. It is a monthly bite for this person.Come and enjoy the full menu of value. You'll get more than you expect.Chehalis, you got a great thing going at the Smokehouse!

The food is always great. I particularly enjoy the salmon chowder, though the smoked salmon platter gives such a variety; the beef, pork & chicken is perfect.The owners, Frank & Danielle, are great, with friendly & warm service.I really like having such a good eatery in our small town.

Adorable place in a cute town on my way back from Seattle to Portland. Large portions made fresh and really warm atmosphere. They also have a market with honey, granola, gifts, and homemade items. Will definitely stop there again.

Absolutely blown away by the care and consideration of the staff, the food was UNREAL and we thoroughly enjoyed being able to check out local crafts after a hearty meal. Seriously so good!!! We came two days in a row because I couldn’t stop thinking about the smoked brisket Mac and cheese. All meat and cheese is smoked right out back and cheese sauce is made fresh every morning. Couldn’t recommend more, do yourself a favor and get yourself this special 🤤

Either I only go here when it’s not busy, or this place is waaaaay underrated!! A touch pricey (what do you expect, it’s salmon) BUT they do have affordable meal options that are hearty and so delicious. Frankly best salad I’ve had at any restaurant. Such a great addition to downtown Chehalis!!

Oh my gosh!!! I'm writing this review as I'm still sitting here!!We stopped in for lunch today as a break from our long drive. This place is so good!!We got the smoked salmon chowder (best we've had), smoked salmon panini and smoked salmon mac & cheese, all were FANTASTIC.The owners and service are so friendly and make everything fresh every day.We'll be back!

The Salmon Mac and Cheese here is to die for . A perfect mix of flavors that just melt in your mouth. We could not get enough of it . Besides mouth watering food they have such a great mix of local products from handmade soaps, tea , cards and all other kinds of local products. It is such a great spot where you shop for an array of products and support local artists after getting your belly full. A must stop when we visit Chehalis.

We stopped in for lunch for the first time today. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff friendly. We ordered the smoked salmon bagel and the smoked salmon pannini sandwich. The food was tasty. Perhaps just a little more flavor would be good. Overall, we were very pleased and look forward to coming back.

Northwest Salmon Smokehouse Cafe

The Cafe is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and until 6:00pm on Friday and Saturday. Come and enjoy smoked salmon paninis, smokehouse baked potatoes with all the fixings and delicious smoked salmon chowder. If you are a fan of brats and dogs we’ve got you covered there too. We open our retail space at 9 AM Tuesday through Saturday. It is in this space that you will find locally sourced treasures. handmade, quality items at your fingertips. Find handmade soaps, candles, hot sauce, locally made teas and salves, coffee, and more.

Indoor Farmers Market

We are located in the heart of downtown Chehalis. We feel very blessed with our space and love to share with our community, so we host an indoor farmers market. Get out of the weather and shop directly from local vendors. It is here you can meet some of the most talented people and buy directly from them on Fridays and Saturdays.
