Incredibly tasty smoked fish. Full stop. The chowder was incredible, the sandwich was fighting for the number one spot - super inviting space as well, I'll have to go back and check out the artisan offerings!

The best smoked salmon! The best smoked Mac & Cheese.I live in Bremerton and am always thinking of how long it would take to go and grab dinner. I look forward to my next visit as soon as I leave the restaurant. Food is awesome. Service is awesome. The price is low and the quantity is enough for leftovers. Four adults was $65 and we ordered the big portions. You would be a fool to order anything other than the largest size as the leftovers are great.

Amazing new restaurant in Chehalis. Food was outstanding and the service first rate. Extremely clean and well lit setting.The pulled pork was some of the best I have eaten. We will put this one on our regular rotation of dining out.

What a great addition to downtown! My husband had tuna melt with smoked cheese on sourdough and I had smoked salmon quiche. Both were sooooo good! Garnishes included a big chunk of flavorful pickled onion. Each lunch came with a beautiful and delicious green salad which was much more than a typical house side salad. On this beautiful summer day, we grabbed the one table out front on the sidewalk in the shade and our little dog took a nap at our feet. The owner is delightful and cares about every detail. He took our order, delivered our food, checked on us and bussed our table. We hope someday he opens a second location in Longview, his hometown. It was definately worth the drive for us - we now have another reason to visit Centralia.

Food is fabulous. Went with group of six people. Everyone loved their food. Especially the clam chowder, smoked salmon Mac&cheese, pulled pork, panini and salad. Everything has delicious smoked salmon on or in it. The place is bright and fresh and the owners are attentive and efficient. Oh yea, let’s not forget the homage carrot cake. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Lovely salmon panini, nice restaurant attentive waitstaff

I visited my mother in Centralia and she said she wanted to try this new place. It was amazing. I had the salmon panini, she had the chowder. Both were exactly what we wanted. The salads were delicious as well. There is a sort of miniature farmer's market inside of there with local goods. Great to see local businesses supporting each other. Will be back with the wife.

Took my granddaughter there yesterday for lunch. The customer service was awesome, and I would highly recommend their baked potato with pulled pork, not to forget mentioning their smoked Mac n’ cheese. Sampled some smoked salmon spread offered to us from the owner, and found it to be delicious.I would definitely return there, and recommend it to everyone I know.

Superb and delicious! Wonderful, friendly owners. I had the Salmon chowder with a Pulled Pork sandwhich. Chowder was creamy and rich with nice sized salmon chunks. The pork was ,tender, juicy and lean. Will be on my top places to dine list.

Staff are great, food is amazing (especially their pulled pork and soups), and the amount of other offered goods is very diverse and super worth looking into as they all locally sourced items!

I had the pulled pork Mac and cheese and it was amazing!! Some of the best Mac and cheese (and pulled pork) I’ve ever had - no joke, it’s a must have.For dessert I had their brownies, topped with caramel and chocolate sauce which was also delicious!The service was great and very quick as well. Would definitely recommend!!!

Friends, if you haven't already, go check out NW Salmon Smokehouse on Market St in Chehalis!!! So amazing! BEST Smoked Salmon chowder I've ever had!! The mac-n-cheese is to die for! Janelle sent me home with a big ol slice of fresh homemade carrot cake that I'm sure will not make it through the evening. They should be winning all the awards for that food. 👏👏👏Frank and Danielle have made it an amazing little place to grab brunch, lunch or dinner and shop local vendors.10/10⭐️ DEFINITELY RECOMMEND

My first time here and everything was perfect ! Friendly atmosphere, great customer service, and their bbq pulled pork is the best I’ve had so far.Service with a smile.I will definitely recommend this place to everyone, and I’ll be going back there a lot more when I’m in the mood for bbq.

Went there on a Friday early afternoon.The salmon smelled good. I was able to enjoy the smell before even tasting it. It tasted good, too - no fishy smell.The chowder was rich and not too salty. The ratio of salmon, potatoes (?), and soup was good - no obtrusive chunky feeling. Herbs added complexity to the taste in a good way.The salmon mac & cheese avoided a common issue encountered by certain bacon mac & cheese - the salmon and mac and cheese worked together instead of the salmon's stealing all the spotlight. The amount and types of cheese made the mac & cheese alone taste good, and the smoked salmon further added complexity of texture and flavor to the whole dish.The herby bread that came with the mac & cheese was surprisingly good.The salmon panini was good, but I haven't thought of how to describe the delicious spread.The seating was good. Good space between different tables, and nice street or store view (depending on the direction). The store was a relaxing place with clean interior and comfortable atmosphere to shop some interesting products, such as rather unusual kind of soap, tea, sauce, salad dressing, etc.The owners (?) and staff were friendly and sometimes identified our needs before we said anything.Those who like the smoked salmon and/or spread can buy some to take home, too.The experience was relaxing and great.

My wife heard about this Gem of a place on the radio. Drove down today from Olympia to check it out and was not disappointed. We had the pulled pork sandwich, pulled pork Panini and a cup of The Salmon chowder and salads. The food was amazing. More amazing than the food was the customer service. Definitely will be going back to try more offerings from the menu. I will call ahead to reserve a slice of Carrot Cake :). The warm brownie and ice cream was very good also! See ya soon!

No matter what you think you're walking into, you'd be incorrect. The vision of the owner of this space had is impressive and the menu is both comfortable and unique

First time being here, the atmosphere was welcoming and cozy with a lot of items to look at while I waited for my food. The salmon Mac n cheese was delicious, small serving perfect to fill you up. Service was very fast I was in and out less than 20 minutes and had enough time to eat and look around within the 20 minutes. Go here if you want friendly and fast service. I also like how enthusiastic the staff were about showing me around.

You haven’t lived lived until you’ve had the salmon chowder here! Absolutely made with love and care . Excellent customer service. Reasonable prices. Perfect portions . My Family and friends will be eating at the Salmon Smokehouse many more times !

Fun laidback spot for a quiet lunch or a dinner celebration. A small group of friends stopped in for a birthday lunch midweek. We had a great time. The staff was great and the food was nice. It was fun to have some different items on the menu to choose from; salmon, smoked cheese, albacore tuna....

This is the absolute best smoked salmon ever! The salmon chowder and the salmon dip are phenomenal! The smoke house baker with Mac and cheese….cant go wrong! Friendly staff and wonderful service!Love all the local products available to purchase! Right in the heart of downtown Chehalis! This is my go to spot!

The bathroom was amazing. It was this beautiful shade of purple that really brought the entire place together.The food however, exquisite! I really enjoyed the samples that they give out. Reminds me of worst times (Costco on a sunday). What I got was; pulled pork mac n cheese (small size was plenty), a cup of soup (rich and creamy), an Oat milk steamer w/hazelnut, and a server who was gorgeous.Everything tasted and looked amazing. Their mac was smokey, creamy, and delicious. The pork that topped it was smokey and the best I ever had. The soup was amazing and I HATE the taste of fish but was swayed with the sweet words of my server. She was right and I am surprised how I much I liked it. My steamer was also good, it wasnt burnt nor too sweet. I will be coming back to use the bathroom.

Very quaint place great for family, lunch get together, or just by yourself. Staff are always polite and courtious. The food is fantastic and they offer neat local hand made craft and grassroots small business hand made products. The atmosphere and decor is great. Highly recomend!

Good lord this place is amazing. The portions are filling. We had the clam chowder, smoked salmon Mac n cheese, side salads and tuna melt. It’s so good it’s actually offensive. The staff is incredible and welcoming. You can tell they take genuine pride here.

Danielle and Fred have opened up an amazing little restaurant here. I first went several weeks ago and tried the chowder and the Mac and cheese, and knew I'd be back. Their smoked salmon is great, but then I tried the pulled pork and knew this was my new weekly spot. Its hard to pick which I'll get each week! Sometimes I have to go twice so I can have more than one option. Add some mac'n'cheese to the pulled pork potato for a real treat! Service is also always great, Danielle really went out of her way to get to know my preferences and even when I forgot to ask for no onions she always remembers. Don't miss out on this new gem in downtown chehalis!

Great staff, great prices, great food. Grabbed lunch for the whole family and they loved it. The pulled pork mac n cheese was delicious and the carrot cake was amazing.
