We pulled into this smokehouse on a whim during our drive from Seattle to Portland, and it ended up being one of the best food decisions I’ve made in a long time. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and every dish we tried was spot‑on.

We ordered the chowder, the mac n cheese, and a panini sandwich (all with smoked salmon), and all were excellent, but two things really stood out. The mac n cheese was on another level, topped with smoked cheese that exploded with flavor in every bite. This elevated my mac n cheese experience to a level that I never expected. And the panini? The smoked salmon mix was so well balanced that every bite tasted just as good as the last. No uneven flavors, no surprises, just perfectly blended, smoky, savory goodness.

This place turned a simple road‑trip stop into a standout food memory. Highly recommend dropping by if you’re anywhere near the area.

Finally found a place in Washington state that makes clam chowder WITHOUT bacon. Yummy.

If you are in the area, I highly recommend stopping here for a bite. Great food and service. I wish I had something like this in my town.

Best smoked salmon and brisket ever! Everything was amazing. We are from Tacoma and this beat every place there. We got the charcuterie board, smoked salmon panini, smoked salmon mac n cheese, and brisket bake potato. The portions are big and the ingredients taste fresh. They have a store of yummy snacks and local honey. We will definitely be stopping through on our trips. I’m adding pics but we did start eating before I took them 😂

The food was beyond delicious!! I ordered several different things, and all of them were amazing. The staff was also incredibly nice. I don't eat out a lot, but I would most definitely come back here.

The salmon chowder was to die for. I wish I had gotten more of that. The fish lover's panini was a bit heavy handed on the mayo and the tuna in it was nothing special. The smoked salmon was great though. They also must have run out of those nice looking pickle spears because I just got three slices of pickles.

I had the salmon quiche and seafood chowder. They were both delicious! Between the wonderful food and the souvenir area i recommend stopping by and checking it out.

Love the food there, good quality, and top tier service and the dishwasher in the back is kinda handsome.

This place is like no other ive seen. Super good food and great service. There potatoes and mac and cheese are the best ive had and could eat them everyday! Cooks make great food and the staff is so sweet.

We really loved this place and will look forward to going back. The food was delicous the Salmon Chowder is so good and filing. The smoke salmon is probably the best I've had in a while. A lovely place to sit and visit with family and friends and enjoy a great meal.

Stopped to have lunch during our roadtrip and was pleasantly surprised to find this amazing place. I ordered their fan-favorite Mac n Cheese with smoked salmon, it was so delicious! Even with the regular lunch portion, it was enough for both lunch and dinner for me. My husband ordered one of their May specials and the sausage with smoked brisket chili was amazing too! Got to chat with the chef owner and he was so nice and welcoming, very thoughtful too! Really enjoyed our time here, and would recommend this place 100%.

I have been trying to get my daughter to try the place for a year now. Finally we made it yesterday. With friend in town to visit, we made the trek from Winlock to town to try out this restaurant finally!

We got a hot dog for the little kiddo, a salmon panini, tuna melt, cup of salmon chowder, mac n cheese to share and for my daughter, she got the smoke salmon bagel.

The service was amazing and the food was exactly what I had hoped. My daughter apologized for making me wait an entire year to try it. Everything was truly to die for.

I can see myself swinging in to get the salmon chowder and mac n cheese to go on my way home. The smoked salmon chowder has moved to my top five list of favorite dishes in Lewis County.

The atmosphere is very relaxing and the added large gift shop was entertaining to browse. 10/10 you need to eat here yesterday. We will be back!

Got the epic spud! It was delicious and weighed like 4lbs!

This place has lots of great treats and dishes for you to enjoy. We got the special sampler platter which had plenty of brisket, pulled pork, sausages, pickles, toast, and more to enjoy. Each part is full of lot of flavor and dedication. Perfect for a group of 3-4. The tuna and salmon sandwich is also very delicious, and has a nice deep smokiness to it. And we had the chocolate cake and carrot cake for dessert which were amazing. Each one were so soft and had lots of wonderful flavor in them, and a perfect way to end the meal.
Our servers were very considerate and very informative about the food, and treated us with lots of kindness and sincerity. There is also a great shop built into the store so make sure to check it out!

The smoked salmon chowder is divine! I've had the pleasure of having lunch here a few times, and it really should be a weekly lunch stop. Everything I've tried has been SO good. I really enjoyed the Tuna Melt and the Smoked Salmon Panini. My mouth is watering as I'm typing this. Also, what a great place to get a gift! Their artisan market has cool unique gifts from local artists and yummy treats and trinkets to please the best of them. So happy to have them in our community! Kind hearted owners too.

we stopped here on our way to Oregon, so glad we found this place! everything was top tier and handled with care. everyone working there cared a lot about the customer experience. we got the fish lovers sandwich with their smoked salmon chowder and their brisket sandwich with coleslaw. loved everything, their coffee was also very good. and they had a store portion with great local offerings. would definitely stop at this place again when driving through.

Blew us away. We were expecting a good meal based on reviews and we’re impressed even more. We live in Texas and the brisket was fantastic. The kielbasa was fantastic as well.

The barbecue reminds me of Texas. There is a nice variety on the menu, and the service is great.

What a great find! Stopped here about 4pm on Saturday and it wasn’t crowded at all. I requested a small sample of the salmon so my husband could try it and the owner, Frank?, was very accommodating which I really appreciated. I had the kid’s macaroni and cheese and a cup of chowder and it was delicious! My husband also had the chowder and a small dinner salad.
Strongly recommend this establishment and will definitely be back.
Oh, and there was also a nice selection of local honey, which I did purchase one of and a variety of other tasty treats.

Stopped here by chance, got a BBQ samplers lunch, and absolutely loved the food, atmosphere, and owners!

I came in earlier this year and wow! Let me tell you, the smokiness of the salmon, the chowder and food blew me away! Love the small town feel of this restaurant. Spots like this are very few. I’d recommend this spot to anyone.

We stopped here for lunch on our way to Portland, we are traveling across the country from east to west and this has been the best food we had on this trip. The salmon is exceptionally well made. Excellent smokiness and doneness. They make their mac and cheese with smoked cheese that gives it amazing depth. Check out their market too for condiments.

Came from yelm for a soccer game, had to stop for gas decided to try it. Was a fantastic idea because this place rules. Great food, service, and prices. Definitely making this a normal stop for us.

We stopped in for lunch a couple of days ago. Wife had the Salmon/Tuna pannini and I had the baked potato loaded with pulled pork. We added on a cup of the salmon chowder to share. Everything was fantastic, especially the chowder. I'm a bit of a chowder snob and this was absolutely the very best I've ever had anywhere, including the famous clam chowder in Ogunquit, Maine. This one beats them all.

The owners of smokehouse are passionate, professional and they know what the community wants to eat!! I’ve been there several times and have brought friends! If you haven’t tried their food, get there!! You won’t be disappointed!!

I love this restaurant because from the moment I stepped inside, I have never been disappointed. The food consistently exceeds expectations, easily deserving a rating of 1000/10. I highly recommend this place not only for its exceptional cuisine but also for the warm and attentive service.

My pulled pork sandwich was puny but my wife's brisket pannini was nice sized

Amazing smoked salmon; we got the smoked salmon baked potato and smoked salmon bagel, both delicious with impressive salmon portions! Grandma’s baked potato special sauce was the perfect pairing. Highly recommend, will come again next time we’re in town!
